Q2 2024 Performance of Top Theme Parks Apps in a Unified Market

In Q2 of 2024, theme parks apps have shown varied performance across the unified platform. At Sensor Tower, we've tracked the downloads, revenue, and weekly active users to provide a snapshot of these trends.

The LEGOLAND® Billund Resort app saw a gradual increase in downloads, starting from 784 in the first week to a peak of 1.5K in early May, before ending the quarter at 1.2K. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at 596 and rising to 1.3K.

Disneyland® Paris experienced relatively stable downloads throughout the quarter, with a notable increase to 634 both at the start of May and at the end of June. Active users began at 1.1K and showed a peak of 1.3K in early May, concluding the quarter at 1.2K.

For Universal Studios Japan, downloads saw fluctuations, with the highest at 175 in the last week of June. Active users showed consistent growth, starting at 154 and reaching 270 by the end of the quarter.

The Heide Park Resort app downloads saw an upward trend, beginning at 32 and reaching a high of 202 in early May, then closing the quarter at 176. Active user numbers also grew, from 382 to 557 over the same period.

My Disney Experience had modest download numbers, starting at 18 and peaking at 85 in the final week of June. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, beginning at 32 and ending with a high of 101.
